Do I have to be artistic in order to do this service? Not at all. We have designed our system to be so simple and easy, that anyone can do it! Its true, being artistic would be advantageous, but by no means essential. In fact with exception of professionals like ' Painter & Decorators who use our package as a Business Bolt-on, all our Artists had no artistic background before they became Starglow FX Artists themselves.
Why is your offering better value than others? We are looking to nurture a new generation of Cosmic Ceiling Artists and you can't do that by making the cost of entry prohibitive. By keeping the price of our Professional Kits relatively low, we give more people the opportunity to have their own part-time business. By investing in Starglow FX Professional Kit, they could save hundreds, possibly thousands of pounds over a comparable Franchise. Money they could then invest in themselves and their own future. Prior to our producing the Professional Kit we established and ran a local Pilot Cosmic Ceiling business, in order to prove and refine our methods and develop new ways of generating interest and enquiries etc. This test business was thankfully a success and the lessons we learned from this enterprise, we condensed into the Professional Package, so now you can avoid the mistakes we made and benefit from our experience. This is the biggest difference between our offering all the others, but this is also what will make the difference between success and failure! One of our key business goals is to establish thriving network of successful Cosmic Artists, all creating spectacular cosmic ceilings, using our special Starglow FX Paints. It is in the interest of our business, to see you become successful in your business. Over the last couple of years, a few individuals (who we suspect bought copy-cat mini kits from our competitors and have failed to succeed in this business themselves) have started selling small kits for silly low prices and claiming they are Business packages. Please do not be fooled by this. Compare them with our own and you will see. Ask yourself "who would I prefer to have as my business partner?" We do not offer this package on eBay, as we do not want to be associated with or tainted by the many disreputable and outlandish offerings that swamp eBay.
Is your System projector based? No. There are other offerings on the market which use the projection method to display a star map on the ceiling, over which you paint stars (dots). Whilst this produces a pleasing result, it does not compare with a full blown multi-coloured Starglow FX Cosmic Ceiling. As the night sky is hemispherical in shape, not rectangular, projecting a hemispherical star-map on to a flat, rectangular ceiling (non-hemispherical), will not encompass all the stars, as many will be projected onto the surrounding wall. This crude method results in gross distortions and stretched stars at the extremities. Secondly the night sky changes constantly and slowly, so it is never the same from one hour to the next, and all relative to the earth's orbit etc, So what is the point of limiting yourself to a static projected image which is not accurate anyway? We know of competitors who offer this as part of a kit and takes the form of a child's Projector sold for a few pounds in toy shops and on eBay etc. If you wanted to offer your customers this option, you can always buy one and try it. But don't say I didn't warn you. The Starglow FX System however, does include the main 'recognisable' Northern Constellations, together with the 12 Astrological Star Constellations, all in their correct positions relative to each other. However, our Starglow FX System is geared to producing spectacular effects, and not be hampered by the unnecessary positioning of dots on the ceiling. As a Starglow FX Artist, you would be in an ideal position to offer your customers more choice (unlike the competition)..
You should receive you Kit within 2 - 3 working weeks from order.
The new techniques we have developed (now being copied by our competitors) are in fact so simple and easy to learn, you'll be able to master them within a couple of hours practice using the easy-to-follow instructions and practice paints provided. For this reason we do not include training as part of the package, preferring instead, to maintain a lower purchase price. However, should you prefer to have training at a later point or would like help doing your first ceiling perhaps, we can put you in touch with one of many authorised Starglow FX Artists. Glowtec has an established National Network of independent artists, who have themselves demonstrated to Glowtec, their ability to succeed in this business and are therefore most suited to instructing and encouraging new Artists into the profession. Note: Owing to disappointing service and questionable ethics, we no longer use any third parties for training purposes, only experienced, trusted Starglow FX Professionals provide training for new Starglow FX Artists. 1-to-1 Training now included at no extra cost (UK only).
Will I have an exclusive territory? Yes. We will guarantee you a minimum territory of 10 mile radius for your home. In practice you will find that you will have a far great territory than this, sometimes an entire county!
Do I have to pay a management fee? No. There are no other charges involved. All the money you make, you keep.
Is your kit price, an all-in price? Yes it is and delivery too.
With respect, there are no guarantees in business. That said, the risks involved in becoming a Starglow FX Artist are relatively low. Most people will engage their Starglow FX Cosmic Ceiling business in the evenings and weekends, boosting an existing income at their convenience. There is no need to re-mortgage your home or give up your day job. The Internet leads you'll receive could well pay for the cost of the kit in the first year alone. If you feel that even this low level of risk is still too much of a risk for you. Then perhaps running a small part-time business is not for you.
Could I go into Business full-time as a Starglow FX PRO? You will need patience and determination to achieve this goal. Don't be fooled by tempting promises of a full-time business "out-of-the-box". It does not work that way. You will need to work hard, become confident and build yourself a sustainable part-time business first. If business was easy - everyone would be doing it! A word of caution. The internet and eBay are full of adverts from irresponsible individuals and companies who prey on the vulnerable, offering then easy riches and unrealistic 'work for yourself salaries. Please please do not be fooled by these claims. A business takes time, hard work and determination. It cannot be bought for a mere £300 and certainly not £50!.
How long has this Kit been available? How established is the Cosmic Ceiling Industry? The Starry Ceiling business is certainly not new and has been around since the early 1990’s especially in the United States. This means many other people have trodden the same path that you are considering right now. The key difference with The Starglow FX System, is that while the old-fashioned single-colour 'dotty' offering has not essentially changed since the early 90's, we have made a quantum leap forward with the Worlds 1st Multi-Colour System, including such special effects as: Deep-Space Nebulae, Gas-Clouds, Supernova and Star Clusters etc, taking the art form to new and spectacular heights. Of course we expect others to copy our new methods and falsely claim them as their own, but it will always be Glowtec who leads the way with our superior range of Starglow Paints and relentless innovation.
What’s the difference between your System and the others? Until the recent development of Glowtec’s Starglow FX System, there has never been a true Multi-Colour Cosmic Ceiling system available. Other Cosmic Ceiling offerings are based on the original idea of lots of glow-in-the-dark dots arranged on a ceiling to represent the northern star constellations and the Milky Way etc. However, none were unable to offer the spectacular Cosmic Gas Clouds and colourful Nebula of the Starglow FX System. Nor were any of these offerings supplied to you by the actual manufacture of the special paints and equipment. Only the next-generation Starglow FX System (the Worlds 1st Multi-Colour System) comes to you directly from the manufacture so ensuring continuity of supply along with a steady stream of new product developments. Another major difference lies in the design of Starglow FX ceilings. Whilst they still include the main ‘recognisable’ Northern star constellations and all astrological constellations, we don’t concern ourselves with the relative accuracy of the placement of each star. The night sky is constantly changing as the Earth rotates on its axis and we believe such attention to detail is both unnecessary and can prove more of hindrance in creating what the customer may actually want to see. The main principle of the Starglow FX System is to produce stunning Cosmic Ceilings that bring together the familiarity of the northern night-sky, with the dramatic deep-space spectacles of swirling gas clouds and colourful cosmic Nebula. Such dramatic elements are best left to the interpretation of the individual artistic, thereby providing the customer with a genuinely original work of art. Is there sufficient paint in the kit to recover my purchase cost? Yes there should be plenty to recover your investment twice over! We have included a whopping 2.25 litres of our special Starglow Paint in 5 colours, the retail value of which is over £300.
Can I buy more paints from you? Yes you can. If you have the Business Support Pack, you will get privileged access the Starglow FX Pro Shop and you'll enjoy a Trade discount too.

Does the Starglow FX System included Planets and Stencils? When we created this new Art form, we gave serious consideration to effects such as glow planets etc. We decided that in keeping with our original design focus of keeping this system as simple as possible and therefore enable as many people as possible to do it, was far more important. Fancy artistic effects are not easy to do and they do require a higher degree of artistic ability no matter what anyone tells you. If the are done badly (and we have seen plenty that have been) they will (and do) ruin the whole ceiling. Stencils can be used if the artist wishes to. We have found that many artists struggled with stencils and so we created a range of powerful glow stickers, which look absolutely fabulous and require no skill whatsoever. They also look much better than stencils which will usually look streaky and patchy and not glow as brightly. The Starglow FX System is about creating a pleasing relaxing deep-space Cosmic Effect with it's famous WOW factor. It does not need complicated artwork to achieve this.
Do you have any connection with Starscapes in the USA? None what so ever. Our unique products and services have been developed far ahead of any of our competitor's old fashioned 'dotty' based starry ceiling products, whilst we push forward with our new 2nd Generation Multi-Colour Cosmic Ceilings. Starscapes have not really helped by renaming themselves from "Starscapes" firstly into "Starscapes F/X" then more recently into "Starscapes FX". This only serves to confuse customers seeking out our own original "Starglow FX" brand.
Are Starglow FX Artists Employed by Glowtec? No. Every Artist is an independent business person in their own right and very much the Boss of their own small business. We just help them achieve this dream and work closely with each one to help them grow and succeed. Note: We cannot nor do not dictate or demand that an Artist act as a reference site for Glowtec nor insist that they take time out to discuss their private business affairs with a stranger, who may later become a competitor..
Do you keep in contact with Artists? Of course, we have made some very close artists friends and we have even gone to the expense of producing an online community forum specifically for Starglow FX Pros, so now they can chat and exchange ideas and success stories etc between themselves. You'll never be on you own as a Starglow FX PRO.
What's the difference between your offering and an eBook? A huge difference. Not least that ours is based on a properly developed and proven Business model, professionally developed, packaged and supported. Other differences lay in the specialised equipment, know-how and new business generation methods we have included within our package, this information is wholly proprietary and highly confidential and not available from any of our competitors and other self-proclaimed "experts". What kind of income could I earn with this kit? The level of earnings is very subjective as each individual will have there own expectations and income needs with varying levels of effort. Assume your normal charge for a typical ceiling (eg £200) larger ceilings would command £250-£500. Each ceiling takes on average 3 hours to complete with average material cost of just 10%. Based on this entry-level price alone, and depending on your own preferred activity rate, you should expect to earn an income rate similar to one of the following....
As you can clearly see, a Starglow FX artist does not actually need many jobs (even at a minimum charge) to earn a very nice top-up cash income.
